    Turkey Vulture Reconnaisance

    Turkey Vulture-Cathartes aura
    Turkey Vulture-Cathartes aura, Order CICONIIFORMES - Family CATHARTIDAE. A magnificent flier, soars effortlessly. Wing span 170-178 cm. While soaring holds wings slightly up in a V shape Body feathers entirleley blackish brown. Uses its sense of smell to find carrion. A migrator that nests in Ohio.
