Two pair of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks (Pheucticus ludovicianus) rested in our backyard in Oxford, Ohio after their long migration from the tropics. I got some amazing photos! (May 1-2, 2007)

Here is a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak! Here ia another perspective of the same female Rose-breasted Grosbeak as she looks more directly at me. Wow!
Where there are females, there are always males! Here is a beautiful Male Rose-breasted Grosbeak perched among trees that were just about to open their leaves. Here is a CLOSEUP of the male Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
This male Rose-breasted Grosbeak is beautiful among the freshly minted leaves.
