    Tree Swallow Gathering

    Tree Swallow- Tachycineta bicolor
    Tree Swallow- Tachycineta bicolor, Order Passeriformes, Family Hirundinidae. There were hundreds of Tree Swallows hovering above the north end of Acton Lake in the early morning fog on this late September morning. Note: The fall colors are much plainer and subdued when compared with the bright, sparkling, Spring colors.
