Brown Creeper Profile Brown Creeper- Certhia americana Brown Creeper- Certhia americana, Order Passiformes, Family Certhiidae, Subfamily Certhiinae. The picture could be much better! But, it is my first pictures of this species and I'm happy to have it. Usually seen traveling up tree trunks. Found in the woods behind my house in Hamilton, Ohio.
