The Edge of the Farm Conservation area (Oxford, Ohio) was placed into a conservation easement with the Three Valley Conservation Trust in December, 2007. The total size is ~32 acres with ~11 acres of prairie and 5 wetlands, and 21 acres of forest. Funding for the prairie restoration were provided by US Fish and Wildlife (thanks Sergio!), Miami Valley Pheasants Forever provided essential technical advice and assistance, Cardno ecological consulting firm (thanks Joel & Danielle) provided funding and assistance, and yours truly! Special thanks to FRIENDS of the EDGE who have volunteered their time and hard labor to remove many acres of honeysuckle! Your efforts in restoring the land are much appreciated!
